EXCERPT //

Artist Hannah Taylor is a high-energy visual artist who does everything from murals to album covers to political art, and she’s known just as well for her crooning and strumming with a rogues’ gallery of rock and Americana bands around town.

How has the pandemic changed that? Taylor laughs and says, “Well for the first eight months, I wasn’t interested in or really emotionally able to be creative. It’s kind of normal for me to go through periods of high and low productivity. Once I came out of the pandemic rut, I feel like I’ve been busier than ever.” Something that never changes is that her hair is usually teased as high as a Ghostbusters gatekeeper, but in a decidedly fine pompadour that we’re quite sure Bill Murray would love.
