OPTIONS FOR SUPPORTING OUR WORK
Root Quarterly is a program of CultureTrust Greater Philadelphia, a Pennsylvania charitable trust. They take a 7% administrative fee to take care of all nonprofit compliance and tax filings.
We are working toward a four-year plan that would make our operations self-sustaining, and your investment helps us get there and expand our reach more quickly. Thank you. //
FOR YOUR GIFT TO BE TAX-DEDUCTIBLE:
1. Checks should be made payable to “Root Quarterly of CultureTrust Greater Philadelphia” and sent to:
CultureWorks Greater Philadelphia
The Philadelphia Building
1315 Walnut Street, Suite 320
Philadelphia, PA 19107
2. Online donations can be made here. In addition to the fiscal sponsor fee, an additional fee is taken out of contributions made online, so if you’re making a one-time gift, it’s preferable to send a check. But if you’d like your recurring monthly contributions to be tax-deductible, this option is the perfect fit.
IF YOU // DON’T // NEED YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO BE TAX-DEDUCTIBLE:
This is our own internal “Patreon” without Patreon taking a bite.
You can make recurring monthly contributions via our website. This one of the best ways to support our publication and mission, and we hope you’ll choose to support us.
Have an idea or question?
Please email publisher Heather Shayne Blakeslee with inquiries or ideas about other ways to support our work. Thank you for considering investing in art, ideas, truth, beauty, free speech, and civil dialogue.
WHY YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS
If you’d like to learn more, please contact our Publisher and Editor-in-Chief Heather Shayne Blakeslee.
Your contribution helps us to fund our operations, support independent media, and promote arts and culture in Philadelphia and beyond: RQ currently has more subscribers outside of Pennsylvania than in our home state, and we’ll continue to produce a publication that is of and from Philadelphia, but resonates with the rest of the country, as well as with those people from around the world who have begun to request subscriptions.
RQ operates with a volunteer editorial staff, but we have direct production and business expenses, including paying contributors and artists. If you’d like to help us fund the next print run, pay writers, or otherwise invest in our operations, we’re happy to add your name here to our list of supporters, or take your anonymous donation.
