Soul Shift: A Philadelphia photographer finds her center

EXCERPT //

Cheyenne Gil is a Philadelphia mother and photographer who specializes in boudoir photographs for people of all shapes and sizes. She says her purpose is to “facilitate space for folks to truly allow themselves to be seen and celebrated—body, mind, and soul.”

Her own soul shifted when she gave birth.

“Stepping into motherhood reignited my flame,” Gil wrote to RQ. “I became pregnant during a truly uncertain time in my life; my business had been obliterated by the pandemic; my team had disbanded; my income, gone; and my body and mind were exhausted from years of overworking myself.”
